Valentina Maggiolo graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2014, with a BFA in Painting. She also has a concentration in Art History. Amongst some of her highlighted shows are Denying the Desert (2021) at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lima, Peru; Oysters, snails and slugs (2023) at VASTO in Barcelona, Spain and Another Time (2017) at Ginsberg Gallery in Lima, Peru. In 2018 she did a residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and she recieved a Special Mention at the X National Painting Contest at the Bank of Reserve Museum. 

Valentina Maggiolo lives and works in her studio in Lima, where she is also the creator of Perro Blanco @espacioperroblanco an intermittent cultural space dedicated to chamber concerts, experimental sound sessions  and workshops.

Valentina is represented by VASTO in Barcelona and Reiner´s Contemporary in Marbella.
